With the Pop-up performances we wanted to bring dance literally into people's life and perform in places where dance is not usually seen. The concept was developed for the Moving Futures Festival in 2015 and has since been done every year with the first year students studying Contemporary dance at the Amsterdam School of the Arts. The pop-up could so far be seen at Amsterdam Central Station, Leidseplein, De Uitmarkt and at Dansmakers Amsterdam.
